I always worked with Nikon with no problem. Then I decided to give Canon a try and bought recently a Canon 6D Mark II. Honestly, I'm SO disappointed. The camera doesn't focus well at all, I'm working with a Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and I simply loose lots of photos which never happened to me with Nikon.
Purchased first one just before Thanksgiving and the second one at the beginning of February - both from Beach Camera. Good luck!!

On the side of the lens are three adjustment buttons. 1.stabilizer on/off, 2.af/mf, and 3.20m-Full/infinity. Mine was set to infinity when it should be set at the other setting. This might help π. Recently upgraded to R6 and works great with my Canon 70-200 and Tamron 18-400 lenses. However, I recently purchased the Canon RF 800mm and I am

"What the 6D Mark II is, though, is a solid, well-built camera that is capable of producing great images while improving upon its predecessor in almost every measurable way". The negativity centers around a decision Canon seems to have made that prioritizes resolution and liveview AF, over increasing the DR.
