Yes and no. In PvE, elite specs are pretty much always going to win at end game. In PvP, it's not quite as clear cut, with a few core classes having very strong, pretty comparable builds. Necro, thief, guardian in particular have very strong core builds that can stand against elite spec builds. 35. Tokkijang. Elementalist is the class that i played the most but today, i cannot find any reason to keep playing my elem. I have the feeling that Arena just destroyed the class, the new elite specs is useless, it's possible to have one of the strongest dps but you need to spend weeks on golem for masteries this. Bunny Thumper is a spec based on old Guild Wars 1 Secondary class, the Warrior. GW1's Warrior is pretty much the grand father of the Soldier archclass which all three Soldier classes in GW2 fall in. GW1 Warrior plus itself is GW2 Warrior pretty much. GW1 Warrior plus Ritualist is the GW2 Guardian. Most optimized builds tend to use one of the elite specs because the elite spec offers a set of traits or skills or class features that is better than one of the vanilla alternatives. The Dragonhunter traitline has a +10% damage trait and a few of the traps do better DPS than the alternatives, so it gets picked. Literally every class is able to play a dps role. In terms of what's beginner-friendly, guardian, warrior and necromancer are all fairly tanky options that are straightforward to learn and, if you have the expansions, their HoT elite specs (dragonhunter, berserker and reaper respectively) are all considered to be good options as dps specs. Vindicator went from being unable to compete vs Herald in PvP as a 1+ but had good potential as a bruiser with the third evade trait (the only one which did cost 50 endurance as the rest of the classes/builds on the game, and the only jump which was used by players in the second beta) to being cornered in a single no stackable dodge as the Aside from the desired Tengu from which Cantha has many of. What about Largos? They have rich culture just waiting to be pried out. Which itself can be based off of the original Guild Wars 1 Assassin. Many largos dual wield swords which could be a new addition to the THIEF class as an offhand weap Cast Lesser Endure Pain when you use an elite skill. Resilient Roll : Gain resistance when you dodge. Merciless Hammer : Hammer and mace skills deal increased damage when striking a disabled or defiant foe. Gain adrenaline when you disable a foe. Disables include stun, taunt, daze, knockback, pull, knockdown, sink, float, fear, and launch. Tier eY7PgP.
