Anyway the only fix I could find for this was this: type "sv_lan 1" in your console > then type "sv_cheats 1" > pick a map by using the command "map" > then when you're in game open the console again and type (for example) "sb_takecontrol Ellis" this will force a character change from Nick to Ellis, you can do the same with every other BF4E56q.
